About
Stainsby Festival is a well-established, intimate and family friendly event in a beautiful rural setting. Held in large marquees on a greenfield site at Brunt's Farm in the picturesque hamlet of Stainsby Derbyshire, it has stunning views across the valley to the National Trust's Hardwick Hall. Celebrating its astonishing 40th festival this year, Stainsby is a registered charity and a not-for-profit event run entirely by unpaid volunteers. All proceeds go back into the event. Period. We like it that way and that's how it' staying!

Special 40th Anniversary Festival
Tickets are now on sale for our 40th Anniversary festival. Festival dates 2008 are July 18th-20th and we're trying to line up the best of the last 40 festivals. Artists currently booked are shown here and we'll put the rest of the main line up on this site just as soon as we've finalised it! Meanwhile get out all your old sixties gear (or borrow it off your parents - they'll still have it in a cupboard somewhere - trust us!) and prepare to go all the way back in our special Child of the Sixties celebration of 40 Stainsby Festivals.
Stainsby Flyer Rides Again
The Stainsby Flyer will leave Chesterfield from the railway station and call at the Ibis Hotel on its way to the festival before every concert. 6pm every evening and noon Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Obviously we've also arranged that it'll go back to Chesterfield after every concert (doh!).
